DR CHEUK HIM MAN

Research Assistant Professor

Cheuk earned his Ph.D at the University of Hong Kong in 2013 under the supervision of Prof. Anskar Leung. In his thesis work, he focused on the significance of aberrant proton flux on drug resistance in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). In 2015, he joined Dr. David Scadden's Lab in Harvard University and continued his study of proton flux on the metabolism of hematopoiesis and its malignancies. He is now the research assistant professor in Prof. Anskar Leung's lab focusing on 3 projects: (1) the regulatory mechanism of proton flux, (2) the therapeutic efficacy of targeting proton pump and (3) the role of protein synthesis on drug resistance in AML.
